I am so thankful for you and for the countless ways that you bless our lives. You take your role as husband and daddy very seriously and I think that that has made this birthday a little challenging for you. It is a huge milestone but sometimes when you reflect you tend to have a hard time not focusing on all the things that you wish you did better or think you've done wrong. I don't see it that way, but you do. I am thankful for all the things you do right and for the ways that you love and take care of this family every single day. You work so hard to live a life that first and foremost honors God and you work tirelessly to be the best husband and daddy you can be. You are willing to constantly and consistently go to battle against the pressures and demands of this life and against the demons of your past so that you have time and energy left for us. You work so hard to provide for us in every way and I recognize what a blessing this is and that this is not true for many families. You are an example to us always of what it means to work out your faith, to love God, to care about those around you, to be thankful for what you have, and to be generous with what God has blessed us with. I am thankful that you are ours, for the years we've had together, and I look forward to many years and memories ahead.
