Happy Birthday Cooper!
This year Cooper's birthday was not what we hoped for as first Harper got sick and then Amy's family. Normally we would have chanced it and told people they could come anyway because it's such a bummer to have so many people cancel but with Disneyland right around the corner it felt like we couldn't. Cooper was pretty bummed but as usual he rolled with it. He watched some football with Daddy, I took him up town to get his free Dutch Bros, and the it worked last minute for him to go birthday shopping with Grammy. So while not what he hoped he still had a pretty good day.
Cooper,
You are such a great kid! You're easy going, smart, quick witted, and so funny. I often notice your quieter more serious side. Sometimes I worry you will feel over looked because there are so many of us and you really don't demand much. You don't complain and it can sometimes be hard to tell what you really think about things because we're use to how vocal some of the other members of this family can be, but I think for the most part you really are just more easy going than the others and we love and appreciate this about you.
We also love listening to you talk about the things you're learning and the things that you are interested in like football and reptiles and video games. You have such a sharp mind and you tell us things and use vocabulary frequently that astounds us. Like when you refer to bees as pollinators. It is truly so fun to see how God has made you uniquely you.
We also love your goofy side, though it does get out of hand occasionally these days. You can be quite a pest, but for the most part its all good natured fun. Daddy has been showing the little girls videos from his phone every night at bedtime and my favorite ones by far are ones of you. I don't think I even realized at the time how funny you were.
We love you Cooper and can't wait to see what God has for you this year!
