Disneyland - Day 2

Day 2 - December 11th
We started our day to in Cars Land which will always hold special memories for us as the company Brandon worked for in California played a big part in building it.  In fact, we were able to walk it and even ride Radiator Springs Raceway before they opened it to the public.  It was Sadie and Wyatt's first experience at Disneyland and while we weren't allowed to take any pictures in Cars Land at that time we did snap a few in other parts of the park.

Anyway,  So we raced over to the Radiator Springs Racers first thing in the morning as it usually has the longest lines and we also picked up fast passes so that we could ride it a second time knowing it was going to be one of the kids' favorites.  It didn't disappoint.  The kids LOVED it!!!  Carter and Ollie were especially cute as they met Mater and Lightning McQueen.

This one is definitely my favorite! 💖💖💖  They don't come much cuter than Carter.

Ariel's Adventure
The little girls loved this ride and there wasn't much of a line so we would just get off and right back on while we waited for the older kids to ride some of the larger rides that we couldn't go on.
Aubrey's eyes don't say she loved it but she really did enjoy looking at all the pretty things.

I spent quite a bit of time hanging out with the little girls while the bigger kids rode the rides that they didn't meet the height requirements for but that was okay.  Evie honestly wasn't that interested in most of the rides and I needed breaks to feed the twins anyway.  During this break the big kids were riding Gaurdians of the Galaxy which ended up being one of their very favorites.  Apparently everyone except Ollie loved this one.  He was terrified which gave everyone a good laugh because he's as brave and wild as they come.  They all came off the ride cracking up at his reaction.  Carter LOVED it but Ollie not so much which was pretty surprising.

Next we decided to get in line to meet Elsa and Anna.  My girls really wanted to do this and we were told the line wasn't going to get any shorter so we committed but man was it a long line.  Actually it wasn't that long but each group took FOREVER.  I'm not sure what they did in there because our group of 20 couldn't have been in there more than 5 minutes but this was by far the longest we waited for any attraction which was a little bit crazy and probably not worth it, but we had no idea.  On the flip side, the little girls were excited to meet them and it gave us time to eat our lunch and I got to see Melinda.  She had seen some pictures we posted from the day before and called me earlier in the morning because her family was actually planning to be at Disneyland that day as well.  Anyway, so I was thrilled to get a chance to see her, even if it was only for a few minutes, and for her to meet the twins.

Grizzly River Run
At this point in the day the Daddy's were not up for getting wet but the kids were really excited to ride this ride so Uncle Caleb, Auntie Amy, and I braved it with them and then they loved it so much that I took them all on it by myself a second time.  I'd missed out on riding a lot of the "big" rides with them so I really soaked up all the screams and giggles on this one even though it meant getting pretty wet.

The second time around they were even louder and crazier.  Brandon says he could hear them chanting and screaming from where he was waiting.  Haha!
