Spring

Hazel is still LOVING her goats.  She is so funny with them and for that matter they are so funny with her.  I can't believe the way they just stand there and let her play with them, especially Baby.

Also, Tina surprised us with a baby.  She had passed her due date and Robert had already said that he thought that she had some ligaments stretched out which is why she looked so big so early.  We assumed that though she definitely looked prego she wasn't but then we heard the goats making a lot of noise one night after we had been gone for 2 days and what do you know A BABY!  Just one but healthy and a female!  We named her Carmel.

Few things beat the beauty of spring and we're loving it.  I really have to keep an eye on Evie.  She can put her own mudboots on so when I hear the kids head out it means she's going to be right behind them or is already out.

The kids all love playing baseball with Daddy

Daddy's lap just isn't ever big enough and riding on the mower never stops being fun.

This was THEN (Glendora, CA 2012)

This is NOW! (Jefferson, OR 2018)
Same clown show just with a few extra monkeys.

The kids were out playing one day and found a turtle just chilling behind Daddy's car.  They were super excited.  Daddy looked it up and figures it is a painted turtle that somehow wandered up from the wildlife refuge across the street.  Not sure why it was here but it was pretty cool.  Reminded me of the turtle Uncle Robert prayed for and found on the road back when we were kids in Arizona except we didn't let the kids keep this one.  We kept it and watched it for about a day but then drove over to the refuge after church and set it free.

I tease Brandon that there must be a little dutch in him.  They haven't burned the piles of limbs over at Ryan's place yet so he keeps wanting to squeeze in a few more trips.  Seriously though I can't blame him.  When are we ever going to have free firewood so close to home again?

We tried out a bike park in Salem with the Kaufmans.  The kids LOVED it!!!
