Swimming, Bike Riding, and VBS

The kids look forward to swimming lessons every summer.  We took lessons at Albany Swim and Tennis Club again this summer and Hazel got to participate for the first time.  Everyone did great!  Hazel and Cooper got more comfortable in the water, Wyatt learned how to swim enough to jump off the diving board without a floaty, and Sadie got even more proficient.

Grammy watched the babies most days which was nice and we took Great-Grandpa with us on the last day of lessons which Evie loved.

Another highlight of the summer is always VBS.

And this summer we added 2 more bike riders to the family.  Hazel is a little daredevil.  We took her training wheels off and she'd barely let us help her.  She was very confident from the beginning that she knew how to do it.  Cooper on the other hand has had his bike waiting for him for over a year but is just a little more cautious.  He was really good at his balance bike and I think the training wheels really threw him off.  He didn't like the way they felt and as a result refused to ride his big bike for the longest time.  However, this summer he finally got brave enough to give it a try without the training wheels and he caught on in not time at all.
