6 Months Old

Happy 6 Months Girls!!!
You're rolling and squealing, you love your baby jumpers, we still can't tell you apart most of the time, and you're just so much fun!!!

The girls are still enjoying the bumbo seats.

They are starting to enjoy their jumpers.

But their favorite spot is in our arms.

Since arms are in high demand around here we also spend a lot of time hanging out like this, especially around dinner time.  The girls consistently take 2 good naps but they're kinda stinkers about taking a third.  So around dinner time they're always a little tired and our options seem to be listening to them fuss, putting them in their beds to fuss and fuss and fall asleep which means they're up later at night, or giving them a quick cat nap like this.

Everyone always asks, even old men in Costco, if one always rides in the front and the other in the back and the answer is no.  I usually put whomever is happiest on my back but if their in the same mood then whoever I grab first rides on my back.

The kids still can't get enough of the babies.  It really is so funny!  Literally every time I come downstairs with them they swarm them and act like they haven't seen them in forever.

Twinkies!!!

A Twin holding a twin.  We were so excited to see Courtney and 2 of her girls Mia and Ava when they came for a quick visit this month.

Courtney is one of those friends who just gets it.  She's a Momma to 6 and has a set of twins and a set of triplets.  Once upon a time we were next door neighbors and there are definitely a lot of things I miss about those days.  It's hard to find time to connect now that we live in different states but when we do get to see each other our time together is always such a blessing to me.

While we were in Caldera celebrating Dad's 60th the girls turned 6 months old.

At their 6 month appointment Aubrey weighed 13 lbs 8 oz and was in the 7th percentile and Maddie weighed 13 lbs 6 oz and was in the 6th percentile.
