What to say about Sadie. It's hard to believe that this girl of ours, the one that made us parents like 3 days ago, is 10!!!!! What in the world???? She has grown and changed so much and we are so proud of her. Sadie is the leader of our pack. She runs the show with her siblings, she can keep toddlers entertained for hours, she hears every baby cry and quickly jumps in to help, and she is almost always the first to rally the troops when Mommy or Daddy are feeling tired and overwhelmed or just in desperate need of some help cleaning up or getting something done.
Sadie has always been so very responsible. For the most part she's a rule follower like myself and yet she is also so much fun and doesn't worry to much what people think, like her Daddy. She can be as sassy as they come and has been giving the stink eye since she was just a few days old. In fact, the aid in her classroom told us at conferences that she has a special relationship with Sadie. She claims that Sadie gives her the stink eye and playfully sticks her tongue out at her in class. Mind you her aid seems like a pretty feisty lady herself, but we often joke that Sadie is not to be trifled with. She can dish out whatever you bring and can hold her own with just about anyone. I was a little worried that she was being disrespectful when I heard this, but her teachers and aid all assured us that they love this about Sadie. They say she has a little sass to her that makes them laugh frequently. They also say they love how she's willing to be honest with them. They said honesty is an important quality to have and that she definitely has it. I'm pretty sure she frequently tells them she'd rather be at home with the babies than at school.
Always embarrassing to listen to people saying nice things about you.
Cupcakes for the class.
