My Little Chunk

I really can't get over this little chunk.  His little cheeks and rolls are just too much for this Mommy!

Awanas

We participated in the Awana program once again at our church.  Sadie was in the Cubbie class this year and Wyatt was a Puggle.  In Puggles we spent the year learning about creation, God's love for us, and about giving thanks to God in prayer and we were so proud of Sadie for memorizing over 20 verses in Cubbies this year.

Daddy's Little Helpers

The current project at our house is taking place in the garage.  Brandon is working on drywalling one of the walls and building shelves so that we can store all the stuff we are accumulating with these kiddos.  Wyatt especially is Brandon's right hand man these days.  He got a bunch of pretend tools for Christmas and his birthday and now he's learning how to use them by working with Daddy.

April Happenings

So last month was a bit crazy but fun.  A day and a half after returning from Arizona for my Grandma's funeral, Ryan and Katie and my Mom arrived to spend the week with us and to attend my cousin Trevor's wedding which was here in La Verne as his new wife Sarah is from Glendora. Brian, Amy and Payton also joined us for the weekend festivities along with quite a few other family members.  Anyway, I always love having family around and this was no exception.

On Friday we drove down to Santa Monica so that we could see one of the projects that Brandon is managing out there.
Here we are waiting for Daddy to come and show us around.
Check out Daddy's BIG building.  Pretty impressive and fun for the kids to see.  Now every time we see a building under construction they ask if Daddy built it.
 Playing in the sand.
Wyatt loved digging and being buried in the sand by Auntie Katie and Grandma.

On Saturday we attended Trevor and Sarah's Wedding
Yes, we were one of those people sneaking a picture behind the photographer :)
It was a lot of fun seeing Trevor get married.  It's funny how I still somehow picture us all as kids even though most of us are grown.  I think the youngest cousin on this side of the family is going to be a Senior in high school this year.

On Monday we made a another trip to the Arboretum to feed the ducks.

I believe as we took this picture Ryan let us know that this is why he doesn't take vacations with Grandma anymore.  Too many pictures!  Haha we love it!
Can you find Ryan and Wyatt?  Yes they're the tiny speck up on that little bridge and yes I must admit I was a bit nervous but Uncle Ryan brought him back down safely.
 Wyatt's favorite spot
And in case you were wondering who was guiding this tour...well..actually we weren't sure either.
Wyatt couldn't get enough of his Auntie Katie and neither could we.  What an amazing sister-in-law I've been blessed with!
